Artist Teresa Wegrzyn was born in Poland where she obtained a degree in Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. In 1981 she and her family immigrated to Canada settling in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Attracted by the beauty of the West Coast, she later moved to New Westminster, B.C. Where she now lives and works. After several years of working in an unrelated field, and inspired by the beauty of her new environment, Teresa regained her passion for painting and determined that it would become her life's work.
